Revelation : A Blob's Tale

It has been a long semester and I'm proud to post my latest film "Revelation". I have worked on this film for an entire semester pretty much solo. I had a lot of support from friends and classmates and I would like to thank all of them. Without their help this project wouldn't be half as fun.

Hooked

During the entirety of my time in junior year of college was given to my short film "Hooked." It still stands to be colored and shot to be fixed up a little more but as a whole it tells the story that I wanted to tell and help me grow as an animator.

Water Works

This was my first successful acting piece with one of my own created characters. It was done back in my sophomore year of college as the big semester project. Basically I have an alien who is unaware of what a drinking fountain is and its function. The whole idea was based on the water fountains at my school which would either burst water at you or not work at all.

Getting Started

I haven't used Blogger in a long while and oddly enough I didn't think I could use it as a professional site. Ah to be young and naive.... well I know better.

Well gets started! I'm Caitlin Cooke, username CooperPiece. I'm a artist fresh and almost out of college. I have fully animated two films on my own and wrote stories during my time at Edinboro University of PA. I have a professional Youtube Account where you can see those films and I'm still finding a place for my writings to post on.

I'm looking to be either a storyboard artist, animator, compositor or matte painter. At the moment, those are the fields I want to give my all. I hope in the future it will be more focused but at the moment that is what I feel comfortable with.

There will be more posts, I promise. Right now I have drawings that aren't scanned, animations in the planning and writings in rough stages. However this will be the hub where all my hard work will be on.
